Publix brand sourdough hard pretzels

Please be aware that Publix may have changed their pretzel recipe or baking method. The pretzels we tested had more of a thin, shiny outer shell. The pretzel used to not have this thin, outer shell and was more "sourdough." The best way to describe it is like the crust of sourdough bread. May have to contact Publix to see if they made changes. It will be disappointing if they did change the recipe or baking methods, because they used to me the #1 sourdough pretzel.
